Let's start stacking

All beginnings are a bit difficult.
Just follow these steps and by the end of this page you’ll be stacking pro.

In this example, we assume you have three straps.

1. unboxing

Take everything out of the ziplocks.
You should have three straps, a logo link, a hook and several links.

Our ziplocks are 100% biodegradable.
Feel free to dispose of them or even compost them.

The can? Keep it.
It’s perfect for storing your ARMOR OF THE FREE parts.
Or receipts. Coins. Foreign currency. Forgotten keys, Random treasures.

2. sizing

Wrap one strap around your wrist and estimate the gap between the ends. In the image, that’s about 2 cm.

Each link, including the logo and hook, is 1 cm.
So the person in this image needs 2 links per strap.
So 3 straps × 2 links = 6 links total (including hook + logo).

Depending on the thickness of the straps, you might need one link more or one less. We’ll check that in Step 5.

3. link chain

Up to a wrist size of 19 cm, we recommend using one single LINK CHAIN:
all links + logo link + hook connected together.
If your wrist is 20 cm or more, place two links between each strap instead.

To connect links:
hold them perpendicular and slide them together.

You can position the logo link anywhere in the chain.
Place the hook at the end.

4. connect

Connect the straps in your preferred order.

To connect the straps:
hold the end caps perpendicular and slide them together.

Attach the link chain to one end of the stack, with the hook at the open end.

attention points

  • Some straps (like leather or rope) naturally curl.
    Their connectors are rotated 90°.
    Connect opposites, not identical sides.
  • Make sure curled straps curl in the same direction.
This helps the stack wrap smoothly around the wrist.

5. adjusting

Time to test if the stack fits.
Hang the middle strap over your wrist, then wrap the others around and connect the hook to the last connector.

The first few times may take a moment. Totally normal.

  • Too tight? Add a link and test again.
  • Too loose? Remove a link, or the hook may disconnect unwanted.

Wrist size changes with temperature:
In summer you may need one extra link, in winter one less.

A. cuffs

Cuffs in your stack add a few benefits:

  • They break up the design. The stack looks more like separate bracelets.
  • They make it easier to put on (start with the cuff on the wrist).

Keep in mind:

  1. Cuffs fit wrists 17–20 cm.
  2. Bend the cuff to match your wrist shape.
  3. Place it somewhere in the middle of the stack.
  4. Attach a few links directly to the cuff on the side worn on the inside of your wrist
Your wrist isn’t perfectly symmetrical, and this keeps the end of the stack at the bottom of your wrist instead of shifting to the side or top.
